A photo art project to the topic of female body hair (arm pits, pubic hair, body hair in general...). The works that arise from this project will be shown in exhibitions and in the web – and finally they will be published in my third monographic photo book.
The topic mainly deals with the questions about what really makes a person "beautiful", "sexy" or "erotic" and how far the commercially produced ideals differ form the "real human beeing": it's about the differences between appearance and reality.
I am looking for natural women who'd like to take part in this project as a model and who do not shave or that are willing to leave their body hair (or part of their body hair) unshaven during the coming winter.
Size, colour, nationality, age (except minimum age) are irrelevant. Your weight should be within a BMI that is considered as healthy, thus somewhere between very slim and quite chubby, but neither gaunt nor really corpulent...
You don't have to have a "perfect" body nor look like a star, but on the whole you should feel comfortable with your body and with yourself and find yourself attractive. It is fine if you are kind of "special" or "exceptional".
You don't have to be "very hairy" (but of course it's ok if your are). The only requirements in regard of body hair are that you didn't shave your pubic hair since quite a long time before the shooting and that you don't twitch your eyebrows. Hair in the arm pits, on arms, legs, back, face, nape of the neck etc. is welcome, but not a conditions for the participation.

Nudes. The images shall be beautiful, artisitcally ambitious, fascinating and sensually erotic. Besides of full body nudes I will also take detail shots and close-up details from body parts with hair.
Mostly in Basel. Mostly in the hotel room that you use for your stay in Basel. Depending on the possibilities and appointments, shootings are also possible in Barcelona or near Barcelona (outdoor).
If you have own ideas or possibilities for a shooting location: fine, if it is near Basel or Barcelona.
Before we start with the shooting I show you a model release that you have to accept and sign. A copy or your identity card or passport (that you will bring with you) will be attached to the release.
With signing the model release you allow to publish the photos that I took of you without restrictions (in exhibitions, magazines, books, the web etc.). I cannot accept any restrictions because I must have the possibility to show the images everywhere and anytime and provide photos to each and any magazine or web site to promote my work.
This project is not suitable for models whos first interest is making money. I want to approach women who are interested in the project itself and who like to get outstanding and extraordinary art photos of themselves.
Each participiant gets a CD with the best images that I shot from her plus – after publishing – a signed copy of the book if photos of her are used for it.
However, I can offer 2 possibilities to participants who prefer to receive some pocket money instead of the book:
a) Share: From participiants who choose this possibility I take additional photos that are more commercial and that I can use in the password protected area of my website www.bauer-nudes.com. The share on the sales of this "Hot Gallery" will be payed once every year. However, we are not talking about "big money" here - it is really rather pocket money!
b) "Sponsored Shooting": If a participiant chooses this possibility I will send an email to my customers (who have signed in to receive such proposals) and offer them the opportunity to finance a shooting with the introduced model. The customer can place wishes in regard of the photos prior to the shooting. He receives an exclusive CD with all the photos from the shooting – only for his personal use and without any publishing rights, of course. In this case the model specifies her price - and the clients decide whether they accept the offer or not. Then it depends on how you appeal to my customers if you can participate in the project.
By no means there are any prepayments and no travel expenses or cost of room and board will be payed.
An open word: Already when you take a short look at any of the nudes in the web you can always see immediately whether the shown woman took part on the photo project out of joy, fun or interest in the project or if it was just for the money.
Therefor I am really not interested in models who's only interest is money. I offer the two possibilities above so that I can offer this little additional attraction to really interesting women, who otherwise maybe would not have been convinced to take part in my project.
It will surely be an awesome experience, you'll be part of an exceptional and widely acclaimed art project and, last but not least, you get unique and very beautiful photos of you that you will love to look at for your life time!
